Vaccination Awareness Camps
India on 25 March announced that a new variant of the coronavirus had been detected from samples collected from different states.
Data suggests that this wave is proving to be more infectious and deadlier. Sharp rise in cases
The rise in case numbers has been exponential in the second wave.
On 18 June last year, India recorded 11,000 cases and in the next 60 days, it added 35,000 new cases on average every day.
On 10 February, at the start of the second wave, India confirmed 11,000 cases – and in the next 50 days, the daily average was around 22,000 cases. But in the following 10 days, cases rose sharply with the daily average reaching 89,800./
Vaccination: The Brahmashtra against Covid-19
Hopefully, the situation will be under control with supply bottlenecks being addressed and uninterrupted supply of oxygen ensured. However, the core problem of the COVID surge still remains. The only solution to fight corona is to vaccinate, vaccinate and vaccinate. This will help curtail the spread of infection to some extent and save fatalities to a great extent.
Vaccination: the great challenge
The government of India as well as Madhyapradesh has continuously stressing upon streamlining vaccination in rural areas to curve spread of second wave of Covid-19 in rural areas. However interactions with the frontline workers and officials at grassroot level has depicted a different picture altogether.
People are refusing to get vaccinated. They abuse the government officials who goes to their doorstep for vaccinating them. Our team have interacted with many frontline workers who told us that people in rural areas are misinformed and a negative advertisement has created a fear amongst them.

Harsh Foundation: Vaccination Awareness Camps
Our team is continuously identifying those pockets which are more reluctant to vaccination and organise camps in those areas at priority basis. First of all we ask them about their apprehensions. Then we educate them about Covid-19, it’s symptoms, lethality and it’s treatment. Also we educate them that Mask, Physical distancing and Vaccine are the main weapons in the fight against Covid-19.
Our team aims to motivate people in rural areas to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
